I found Picholines food to be of excellent quality. The ambience is beautiful, however, a little stuffy. Our waiter who took our orders was condescending to say the least. I guess he thought we were a bunch of hicks. The servers, however, were very prompt and attentive. The breads were ecxellent and so was the salmon. A unique dining experience, but I won't go back. By the way, I know what calvados is. the
